Mo’mineen can purchase a single or multiple plaques where they can have their Marhoomeen’s Name for Surah e Fateha engraved. Plaques will be placed at the entrance of the building behind the Alum of Maula Abbas (AS).

Who We Are

Established in 1998, the Mohammadia Center of Virginia has become a cornerstone for the Shia Muslim community in the Washington Metropolitan area. Our diverse membership includes professionals, lifelong residents, students, and business owners, predominantly from Pakistan and India. Over the years, we have expanded to welcome members from Iranian, Afghan, and Iraqi backgrounds through our collaboration with the Imam Ali Center.

In 2016, recognizing the limitations of shared facilities, we took a significant step by acquiring our own property at 4291 Prince William Parkway, Woodbridge, VA 22192. This milestone, achieved with the support of the community through cash donations and Qarz e Hasna (interest-free loans), has enabled us to secure and prepare the land for construction. We are now debt-free and ready for the next phase of development.
